Messages from Heaven: The Healing Power of After-Death Communication (ADC)

Many people report spontaneous, meaningful signs and contact from their loved ones in spirit, known as After-Death Communications (ADCs). These experiences often bring comfort, reassurance, and healing by affirming that the soul lives on beyond physical death and love never truly dies.
In this presentation, Kristi explores the transformative nature of ADCs, sharing her own and her clients’ remarkable encounters, including verifiable personal signs from her father. She will explain what ADCs are, the most common forms, and the doubts many people experience when they receive signs. Participants will also learn how to ask for signs, recognize and trust messages, differentiate ADCs from mental health conditions, and understand how these profound experiences support emotional healing and a renewed sense of hope after loss.
Kristi Ottis, MS, LPC, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and Grief Recovery Method Specialist with more than 20 years of clinical experience. She is also an evidential psychic medium, spiritual teacher, and intuitive life coach. When the Universe Begins to Teach You: A Clairaudient Medium’s Trauma-Informed Path to Awakening
In 2022, during my first ayahuasca retreat as a lifelong atheist, I experienced an unexpected STE that unfolded into “shamanic illness.” That rupture opened into nearly two years of non-ordinary experiences—ranging from startling, inhuman “pruebas” to nightly “teaching dreams” about universal love and compassion. As my worldview crumbled, the voice I call “Spirit” began offering precise instruction—guidance that has continually pointed me toward meditation, trauma integration, and growing a compassionate soul. In this talk, I share how these experiences dismantled my materialist reality, catalyzed inner transformation, and have matured me ethically. I offer a grounded, trauma-informed lens for interpreting mystical openings that may initially feel terrifying or destabilizing. Drawing from lived experience and cross-cultural comparative mythology, I explore how direct spiritual guidance can illuminate a path toward conscious evolution, clarity, and peace. I hope to offer gentle support.
