Transcendent Visions and Exceptional Physical Healing
This presentation shares a profound spiritual journey that began with a miraculous healing from childhood paralysis caused by polio. That transformative experience became the foundation for a lifelong path as a spiritual healer. In 1984, the awakening of these healing abilities was further inspired by the renowned Russian Christian healer Djuna Davidashvili.
Over the years, numerous remarkable recoveries have been reported, including the restoration of sight to a 40-year-old woman who had been blind since birth (1988), as well as the alleviation of symptoms associated with cancer, sciatica, paralysis, chronic back pain, multiple sclerosis, and systemic lupus erythematosus.
Distance healings have also been reported in cases involving malaria, West Nile virus, COVID-19 (19 cases), shingles, burns, and Morton’s neuroma, among others. In most of these instances, conventional medicine had been exhausted, and medical professionals had determined there was no known cure.
Dr. Steven Vazquez, LPC-S, LMFT has over 40 years of experience in psychological counseling and maintains a private practice in Austin, Texas. He is the author of three books, including Spiritual Transformative Psychotherapy.
Dr. Vazquez has presented his work internationally in eight countries and across numerous U.S. cities, delivering more than 100 professional and public presentations at conferences and seminars.
Throughout his life, Dr. Vazquez has personally experienced a range of transcendent events, including:
-Kundalini rising
-Exceptional spiritual healings involving blindness, cancer, physical pain, COVID-19, malaria, and more
-Levitation
-Astral travel
-Visual and auditory encounters with Jesus and Swami Muktananda
Dr. Vazquez is the developer of the Psychoenergetic Biofield Healing method and specializes in helping individuals who face challenges related to profound or unusual spiritual experiences.

Dr. Priscila Alvarenga Antunes, MD
Joint Presentation with Dr. Priscila Alvarenga Antunes & Clovis Vervloet
My name is Priscila, I am a medical doctor, and I have had spiritual experiences since the age of four. Throughout my life, I visited many physicians due to unexplained symptoms, including ICU admission and evaluations in four states in Brazil and Wales (UK). No medical explanation was ever found.
I used several medications over the years, with no improvement—only apathy, while the symptoms continued.
Three years ago, I moved to Vitória, guided by a medium who advised me to seek help at a spiritual center. There, I met Clóvis, who began guiding me spiritually and attending me in therapy. We addressed my spiritual issues and completed eight past-life regressions, bringing significant relief.
I later joined the volunteer work at the spiritual center. Today, we work together offering spiritual assistance through field perception, clairvoyance, clairaudience, psychography, psychophony, projection, and magnetism. I have been free from medication and anxiety since.
Dr. Priscila Alvarenga Antunes, MD, is a Brazilian medical doctor specializing in Emergency and Hospital Medicine. She graduated from medical school and completed postgraduate training in Emergency Medicine at Albert Einstein Hospital (São Paulo, Brazil). She worked on the front lines of COVID-19 care and later served as a medical preceptor, training residents in clinical decision-making and patient care.
Certified in Coaching, with professional experience in personal development and applied behavioral strategies for health professionals, she also completed postgraduate studies in Anthroposophic Medicine, which included clinical training at Filderklinik, in Stuttgart, Germany.
Scientific work includes publications and presentations in national and international conferences. Dr. Antunes integrated medical expertise with long-term studies in spirituality, psychospiritual health, and therapeutic approaches to human consciousness.

Clóvis Aurelio Vervloet
My name is Clóvis Vervloet. I am a pharmacist and clinical psychoanalyst, qualified in hypnosis, floral therapy, Somatic Experience, Deep Memory Process, Hypnogenesis. I have experienced spiritual perceptions since childhood, including visions, clairaudience, and tactile sensations, which led me to seek guidance at a Spiritist Center, where I found psychospiritual balance.
From 1980, I developed intense and progressive drowsiness without medical explanation. In 2003, during a spiritual healing session, I was advised to undergo a brain MRI, which revealed a large central meningioma. I underwent neurosurgery, and during recovery experienced a profound Spiritual Transformative Experience, with clear clairvoyant and clairaudient perceptions for several months.
This event reshaped my life. I closed my pharmacy and dedicated myself entirely to psychoanalysis and to assisting people experiencing spiritual or traumatic processes. Today, I serve as a coordinator and medium in several groups.
I am a pharmacist and clinical psychoanalyst, qualified to work with hypnosis and floral therapy. I am a Somatic Experience Practitioner (Peter Levine – USA), an International Certified Coach (Joseph O’Connor), a Deep Memory Process Practitioner (Roger Woolger – England), and certified in Hypnogenesis (Albert Lopes – Portugal).
I graduated in Pharmacy from the School of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of Espírito Santo. Specialist in Homeopathic Pharmaceutics through the Hahnemannian Institute of Brazil. Postgraduate degrees in Medicinal Plants from the Federal University of Lavras (MG); MBA in People Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas; postgraduate degree in Philosophy and Psychoanalysis from the Federal University of Espírito Santo; postgraduate degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from PUC–RS.
I currently maintain a private clinical practice as a clinical psychoanalyst, hypnotherapist, and pharmacist qualified in Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (PICS).
A Framework of Spirituality to Intentionally Promote STEs
William James described an “unseen order” of spiritual experience that has been identified, clinically applied and validated with research. It highlights how trauma experiences of injury to self-worth and dignity are processed to open to mystical / spiritual experience. This process identifies the specific characteristics of our “heart” and “soul” level of experience opening to a Unitive Love – unconditional healing love, an embodied moral compass, and indomitable faith- appearing as the powerful transformative experience.
A detailed step-by-step method for intentionally promoting these healing experiences will be demonstrated. A science-based understanding will explain how spirituality is humanity’s true nature with a prime directive driving us forward. It provides inspiration, incentive and faith for participants to move forward courageously.
Dr. Calvin Chatlos, MD is an addiction, child and adolescent and adult psychiatrist in practice in NJ. He received his education at Washington Univ St Louis, Univ of Maryland Medical School, followed by pediatric and psychiatry residencies and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Columbia University. Lived spiritual experiences and work with addiction directed his interest to spiritual experience from a scientific and clinical perspective. He has written about a Framework of Spirituality that describes how spiritual experience is psychologically organized in human experience and validated it experimentally with the first study showing intentional promotion of spiritual experience/awakening with clinical care working at the “heart” and “soul” levels. This work identifies spirituality as having a holotropic drive (toward wholeness) and is a prime directive of human nature to be promoted as part of a Unitive Worldview.
Transforming the Ego for Sustained Awakening
For us to have a sustained awakening, we need to convert Survival Mode reactions to Thriving Mode responses. Our instinctive Survival Mode once kept our ancestors safe, yet in daily life it often creates stress, reactivity, and disconnection. This presentation explores key steps and tools for calming these automatic reactions and supporting a greater capacity to thrive.
Thriving involves choosing how to think, feel, and behave. The capacity to choose supports the transformation of the ego from identifying with reactive stories to awakening to our deepest nature.
Awakening is not a state to reach but a natural returning to and unfolding of presence, a way of being that moves through life with flow that is embodied, loving, and centered in conscious awareness.
Doug J. Moore, Ph.D. is a psychologist, life coach, and spiritual director devoted to helping others thrive and awaken to a greater consciousness. Through his sessions, teachings, and online learning center, he helps others learn how to move out of Survival Mode and choose to Thrive. This transformative process is grounding and essential for a sustained awakening.
For more than four decades, Doug has explored the integration of psychology and spirituality. He draws upon mindfulness, meditation, energy work, the Enneagram, and the wisdom of lived experience. His teaching and guidance help others develop tools for self-discovery such as complete acceptance, self-compassion, clearing reactivity, and conscious awareness.
Doug facilitates a long-standing Deepening Presence® study group and offers online programs for self-discovery and conscious awakening, including The Essence of Thriving and Thriving with Self-Compassion. Learn more at dougjmoore.com and thriveandawaken.com.
