Stop Haunting Yourself: Heal Your Past Life Energy! How can we best heal chronic pain, anxiety, depression and stuck energy that can stick to us like stubborn glue, preventing us from living happy, healthy lives filled with purpose? What if we are literally haunting ourselves with not only regret, trauma and self-limiting beliefs, but with Earth-bound energy from our past lives — what if we are ‘the ghost in the machine’? Could you literally be haunting yourself via your own past life persona that is stuck as a ghost? How do we master forgiveness for ourselves, as well as for others, so that we can enjoy our life and set ourselves free? Get ready to be inspired by Wendy’s unprecedented experiences discovering that the heartbroken young ghost who haunted her for over 20 years was actually her own Colonial American past life, and what it took to get that remarkably stubborn ghost to go to the Light. How did this soul retrieval benefit Wendy’s life today? Do you need a similar past life energy healing?

Wendy Rose Williams is a Past-Life Energy Healer. She helps people release the energy that no longer serves them, including chronic physical & emotional pain; anxiety; depression and stuck energy. Releasing this energy allows you to live a happier, healthier life. Wendy had two NDEs while pregnant. She met her Angels for the first time when an aorta burst while home alone and again before surgery. Meeting the soul mate Wendy contracted with to ‘wake her up spiritually’ led her to Michael Newton’s ‘Journey of Souls.’ These events in combination triggered a profound spiritual awakening. Wendy experienced stunning physical & emotional breakthroughs from her own past-life regression therapy & other healing work, including releasing a decades long battle with debilitating daily chronic pain & mobility issues. The remarkable difference in Wendy’s quality of life from healing her past life energy inspired her to help others heal the energy not serving them.

Grief Care in an Awakening World. STEs can profoundly reshape one’s understanding of life, death, and spirituality, often leading to unexpected grief. This grief may manifest as a loss of identity, deep confusion, or difficulty integrating newfound spiritual insights into daily life. In this session, we will explore how to navigate the complex emotions that arise from such transformation. Through compassionate listening and spiritual support, individuals can begin to process their experiences in a meaningful way. We will examine the specific forms of grief that may emerge, the evolution of spiritual beliefs, and the crucial role of both personal and community support in the healing process.
Practical tools—such as mindfulness, prayer, and sharing within safe spaces—will be discussed to help ease the transition. Recognizing that grief after an STE is deeply personal, this talk will provide a framework for offering sensitive, empathetic care that honors the transformative power of these experiences while addressing the emotional challenges they bring.

Saul & Natalie Aronovitch have experienced multiple STEs throughout their lives, which has deeply shaped their path in helping others navigate their own transformative journeys. Through personal understanding and a commitment to compassionate care, Saul & Natalie have supported numerous individuals as they process and integrate their own STEs. Their academic focus is on Pastoral Thanatology, with a specific emphasis on the process of dying—before, during, and after the transition. In addition, Saul & Natalie are dedicated to assisting families in understanding and supporting the spiritual and emotional transitions of their loved ones during the end-of-life process. Through a combination of personal experience, theological insight, and compassionate guidance, Saul & Natalie offer a holistic approach to grief care and spiritual support, providing individuals and families with the tools to embrace these profound moments with peace, understanding, and healing.

Moral, Religious, or Spiritual Problem: A New Perspective in the DSM-5-TR. This presentation discusses “Moral, Religious, or Spiritual Problem,” which is a 2024 DSM-5-TR revised Z-Code. The title change reflects this added sentence to the definition: “Moral problems include experiences that disrupt one’s understanding of right and wrong, or sense of goodness of oneself, others or institutions.” Moral problems include moral injury, moral distress, and moral dilemmas in which the individual’s moral intuitions of what is right and wrong are challenged, transgressed, or outright contradicted by a moral event, leading to varying degrees of psychological/existential/spiritual distress. I will present 2 speculations: 1) A moral problem could possibly lead to a spiritual awakening experience, and 2) Some people who experience spiritual awakening experiences might then experience moral injury when their spiritual experiences are psychopathologized incorrectly. This change will equip clinicians with the language necessary for identifying and treating these problems.

Francis G. Lu, MD, is the Luke & Grace Kim Professor in Cultural Psychiatry, Emeritus, at the University of California, Davis. As a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), Dr. Lu has contributed to the areas of cultural psychiatry including the interface with religion and spirituality, psychiatric education, diversity and inclusion, and psychiatry and film. In 1994, he and 2 colleagues successfully advocated for “Religious or Spiritual Problem” to be included in DSM-IV. APA awarded him Special Presidential Commendations in both 2002 and 2016 for his contributions to cultural psychiatry, and in 2020, the APA Distinguished Service Award. In 2020, the Society for the Study of Psychiatry and Culture awarded him its Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2021, the American College of Psychiatrists awarded him its Distinguished Service Award. He leads annual film workshops at Esalen Institute, Big Sur, CA, and Door County Summer Institute, Egg Harbor, WI.

Awakening the Vibrational Self: Lessons from a Spiritually Transformative Experience. Three years after my Near-Death Experience (NDE) in 2014, I had a spontaneous Spiritually Transformative Experience (STE) that awakened me to the vibrational nature of existence and set me on a path of deep self-discovery and healing. This journey, filled with challenges and revelations, transformed my life’s purpose, leading me to guide others toward their own spiritual awakening. In this presentation, I will share key lessons from my STE, including the importance of self-alignment, the power of vibrational healing, and the integration of higher consciousness into everyday life. Attendees will gain practical insights and tools to embrace their unique spiritual journey, transcend fear, and align with their higher self.

Leena Zafary is a speaker, transformation facilitator, and founder of IANDS Las Vegas, dedicated to exploring the aftereffects of Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) and Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STEs). Her life changed profoundly following an NDE in 2014, which led to a spontaneous STE three years later, awakening her to the vibrational nature of existence. These experiences sparked a decade-long journey of self-discovery and healing, culminating in her passion for helping others embrace their spiritual awakening. As host of the podcast Vibrationally Speaking with Leena Z, she shares stories and insights that inspire profound transformation. Leena’s work centers on self-alignment, vibrational healing, and the integration of higher consciousness into everyday life.
