SAI’s first Conference June 12 and June 13, 2021, was a smashing success.  Thank-you awesome speakers!  Our one-year “birthday celebration”, the Spiritual Awakenings International online Conference, was a blazing success, exceeding our expectations!  Thank you to all the outstanding speakers, and to all of you who attended and participated actively in the Q & A, on chat. For those of you who would like to read more about our conference speakers, we have left the SAI Conference website page up to enjoy.

Over 900 people registered from around the world.  We are delighted that 910 people registered for conference Saturday, and 753 registered for conference Sunday. Wow!  We had a “Free-Style” conference, where attendees could come and go as suited them. Attendees came from at least 20 countries and 6 continents, including from Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, India, Brazil, Argentina, Columbia, Mexico, South Africa, Nigeria, England, Ireland, Scotland, Holland, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Cayman Islands, Canada, and the USA.  This truly was an international event.

Welcome 2 new SAI Advisory Board Members in June 2021:
Ana Cecilia González from Mexico, and Raymond O’Brien from England

Ana Cecilia González, MEd, Attorney at Law, writer and public speaker, lives in Monterrey, México.   She was born with a congenital heart malformation and with few possibilities of survival. Her life has been a long and, at times, difficult road, but never impossible. The life of Ana Cecilia transcends matters of health and sickness due to her determination and passion for life.  Along the way, she had a Near-Death Experience and came back to tell us about it, leaving a legacy of faith and hope.

Ana studied Law and attained a Master´s in Education degree. Much of her professional life has been devoted to teaching. She has two children Ana Paula and Daniel.  Today she is in charge of a department in a family business and gives talks on issues of personal improvement and awareness. She promotes the value of life and the desire to live it despite adversity.  She speaks on topics related to both improving our way of living, and also on preparing for death, 

Ana is the Chair of the newly formed Spiritual Awakenings International Spanish Language Committee, SAI en Español..  Her book, When Life is Not Forever, is available in English and in Spanish.

Raymond O’Brien is a British 12x NDE Experiencer, multiple STE Experiencer, and life-long “seer”, which he inherited from his mother’s side of the family.   He has survived multiple cardiac arrests and heart attacks with NDEs.  His purpose, he believes, is to be back here to help the survivors and the families of those who have suffered death trauma.

He himself holds a qualified and validated experiential spiritual insight to the tsunami of emotions that many have to live with after their lethal event.  It is these insights that he feels privileged to be able to impart to the medical profession and others, so they may be better informed on how to support the NDE/STE community.

Raymond is trained as a psychotherapist, and is a member of the British Association of Counselors and Psychotherapists.  He has spoken at the prestigious Royal London Teaching Hospital on  the psychological effects of surviving a cardiac arrest, be this trauma or STEs after the NDE. He has been published by the John Hopkins University on the subject of near death and the lack of care and understanding of this in the medical world, as well as about how he incorporates his own NDEs in his own practice of helping survivors of NDE/STEs.

We just launched “SAI en Español”, the SAI Spanish Language Committee.  Due to the huge success and great interest in the Panel de Experiencias Espirituales Transformadoras (EET)) en Español, the Spanish Language Experiencers Panel, we decided to launch the SAI Spanish Language Committee, with Chair Ana Cecilia González, plus members Ingrid Honkala, Francisco Valentin, Robert Bare, and Yvonne Kason. Keep tuned for more Spanish language initiatives.

We are taking a holiday in July.
